Team Review:

Even through Royal Challengers Banglore team filled with talent factory but still it is yet to get the IPL trophy on their account. RCB is known as the unluckiest team of IPL. It has made its appearance to 3 times in the finals but lost all the 3 matches.

Last season, we have seen most consistent performance from the captain Virat Kohli. He has set a record with most run getter in the IPL. Before the start of IPL 2017, he has not scored even a single century but in 2017 season he got 3 centuries on his name and also became highest run getter surpassing Suresh Raina of CSK. Along with Kohli, Mr. 360 AB Devilliers is supporting the batting attack. Lack of Jamaican Hard hitter Chris Gayle in the team will definitely lack for the team but he has not scoring runs consistently. So they didn’t retained him.

For this season, RCB  retained captain Kohli, AB Devilliers and youngster Surfaraz Khan. They’ve bought NewZealand batsman Brendon McCullum in place of Chris Gayle for this year. McCullum will open the innings alongside South Africa Wicket Keeper Batsman Quinton De Kock. Virat Kohli and ABD will come next in the batting order and finally Surfaraz and Chris Woakes will play down the order. Lack of pace attack is costed them regularly in the past IPL seasons. Even though they bough Umesh Yadav, Chahal and Washington Sunder bowling team is still can be better. With the small boundaries in the Chinaswamy stadium, although batsmen are piling runs for RCB, their bowlers are not upto the mark to defend the totals posted.

This year, with all the batsmen in form, Let’s see whether RCB be able to win the season this year at least.
